A special event was organized by the foundation university for children with autism on behalf of April 23 National Sovereignty Day. Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın said, “April 23 National Sovereignty Day is a holiday gifted to children. We prepared a special event at our university for this holiday. We are really pleased. This is a very different and meaningful activity. We want to continue this, ”he said. Children with autism and their families attended the event organized by Nişantaşı University.
The students of the University’s Gastronomy Department and the little ones who entered the kitchen cooked various meals with the students. Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın and Founder of Nişantaşı Education Foundation Dr. Levent Uysal also entered the kitchen and helped little children with autism. After the activity in the kitchen, the little ones examined the robots in the university and started the small car assemblies. Belinay, a child with autism, whose happiness is visible in her eyes, said: “I am very happy, we baked a cake. He thanked everyone, saying “I love you very much”. Little Ahmet Halit said, “We made a cake, I am very happy.” Ahmet answered the question of ‘will you come here again’ excitedly ‘will not I come’.

Stating that they organized the event to spread positive energy to the whole world, Nişantaşı Education Foundation Founder Dr. Levent Uysal said, “This activity is very good especially for our little friends to come to school, for such valuable students to mingle with them and to pass the positive energy here to our little little ones. We want them to have a little fun and do positive work ”and emphasized that this is their main goal.
