MY LIFE, MY DREAM

Everyday I wake up in search
of courage and being good.
On this journey, I’ve been met
with many opportunities to create
impact in ways I’d never imagine.
I founded NEV Foundation in 2009
that empowers and financially
supports Nişantaşı University
which is my father will
and now my greatest work
that I will leave behind.

MY FAMILY, MY BIGGEST WEALTH

I believe in mosaic of lived experience and education.
My childhood was me observing around me.
An academic father,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevdet Uysal who served in universities
for many years on the one hand, a merchant grandfather
from Kayseri on the other.
Now I understand that the variety
in my family was my life’s greatest
blesssing.

STARTING FROM SCRATCH

It all started that my parents told
me that they were not supportive
for my dream of studying in Istanbul.
I was all alone.
I came to Istanbul with 120
grams of gold in my pocket
as a gift capital
from my grandmother.
I had to find a job quick.
I was trained because I started
working with my grandfather
at the age of 6.

BLENDING EDUCATION
WITH LIFE

I studied in Istanbul university then earned MBA
from Aston American University, finally I received his
Phd degree in business management in Azteca University.
But If you ask me where you learned the most, I would say
I learned the most from life.
Learning everyday is my life motto.

MY FATHER’S WILL

My career from being a intern to the senior management
positions in Turkey’s leading telecom and technology companies.
All for is to make enough capital to fulfill my father’s will.
First, I established Nişantaşı Education Foundation in 2009
then I founded Nişantaşı Vocational School in 2010 and
Nişantaşı University in 2012 which provides global standards
education to students more than 40.000 at Maslak 1453 NeoTech Campus.

Lessons from my parents

The one bit of advice of parents gave me that really
shaped who I am today was delivered in three separate forms
1. Wake up early and welcome angels of kismet
2. Keep on doing your best.
3. Be a good person always and no matter the situation

Educational Institutions, which
educate in Turkey and abroad.
He also functiones as the
president of the Nisantasi
Education Foundation in Turkey
and abroad.

I AM THE FATHER OF MY TWO
CHILDREN EFE, ELVİN AND
THE HUSBAND OF MY LOVELY
WIFE ECE UYSAL.
